How does personal fitness training work?
- Your first session will comprise of a body composition, lifestyle, postural, and metabolic analysis, along with strength and endurance testing to identify your strengths and any barriers to your wellness programme.
- Your training sessions will follow a personalised programme, developed to help you achieve the aims agreed in your consultation, and taking into account the results of your analysis.
- The programme will cover both the physical and mental aspects of fitness and wellness, by looking at your motivations and helping you to overcome or work around your barriers.
- Sessions are made up of cardiovascular, resistance, stability and flexibility training, suited to your needs.
- Any sport-specific/goal-specific requirements you may have will of course be factored into any session.
While I am happy to provide individual sessions, please be aware that multiple sessions covering an ongoing programme are the most effective way to work towards achieving your fitness goals.
I always make myself available to clients through telephone or email outside of sessions to answer any pressing questions or concerns.
